This past weekend in America we celebrated our Independence Day. Since the 4th of July fell on a Tuesday, most companies gave Monday and Tuesday as a holiday, making it a 4-day weekend. The Stumblers were invited to the Stumbling Sister- and Brother-In-Law's Lake House for the holiday. Here are some exciting photos.

Almost Perfect Backstroke 

Yesterday John and I met for lunch at a new Korean restaurant in Huntsville, the Korean Garden. Judging from this one meal, the food is very authentic and the taste is almost the same as Korea. I have posted the menu below, for my korean friends to see the prices of Korean food in America. The prices here at this restaurant seem just about the same as in Korea, maybe 1 or 2 dollars more expensive for some of the smaller dishes. However, the more expensive meat dishes seem to be about the same or cheaper than in Seoul. Click on the menu to see an enlarged view.

Here is my airplane for the Hawaii to Atlanta flight. All 8-1/2 hours long. I managed to grab about 5 hours sleep.

This post summarizes three short visits to Hawaii. While Hawaii is so nice and beautiful, after so many visits it loses some of its excitement. A bunch of misc. photos follow:

First, the chicken update. The previous chicks posted have grown to be teenagers. We still see them sometimes, they come by for the food S is feeding to the new babies. The teenager chickens are perfect size for soup I think...

Through an unusual set of circumstance, I accidentally ran into my favorite Korean pop singer Chae Yeon in Hawaii at the airport. I'll have to tell the story when I get around to updating my "K-Pop Series" of posts.

Bought a watermelon for work the other day. But driving up the mountain I was worried it would be all bruised if I put it in the trunk of the jeep. So, instead, I belted it in the passenger seat, where it remained very secure.
