Gareth Bale facing Real Madrid revolt as Cristiano Ronaldo ‘fumes’ at Mesut Ozil exit

Gareth Bale is facing a mini revolt at Real Madrid after Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly added his name to the list of stars fuming at Mesut Ozil’s departure to Arsenal.
The German playmaker was shipped out to the Gunners for £42.5million on deadline day following the world record signing of Bale, and Ronaldo has allegedly been venting his frustrations at Ozil’s exit.
Ronaldo is quoted in AS newspaper, telling his Portugal team-mates in training yesterday: ‘The sale of Ozil is bad news for me. He is the player who knows best my movements in front of goal. I am very unhappy about the sale.’
Ronaldo’s alleged comments follow on from Sergio Ramos, who criticised the club for dispensing with the 24-year-old midfielder.

‘It’s obvious that he is a special teammate and friend,’ said Ramos.
‘I’ve always had a real ‘feeling’ with him, and it’s a shame. He’s a great footballer, unique.
‘Everyone is free to choose the best for themselves, but if I were to decide what was happening at Madrid he would be one of the last who would be going.
‘But he has decided, and the club too. We have a great team and I hope it will be a big year [for us].’
Former Liverpool defender Alvaro Arbeloa told reporters he thought Ozil’s sale was ‘a joke’.
‘I’m a little surprised about the transfer,’ Arbeloa said. ‘It’s a shame and a big loss in our locker room, personally and in footballing terms.
‘He said goodbye on Sunday, but I thought he was joking. Ozil is different, there is no one else like him in the world. He makes such a difference.’
